Simple Sketches # 19
This week's sketch is guested by Christy Strickler! She did an amazing job!
My name is Christy. I am a wife and stay at home mom. I homeschool my son and spend my free time scrapbooking or playing video games. I also love to take photos. I have a digital camera and a few toy cameras which my son and I built this past summer. I am originally from Florida. We moved to Nassau, Bahamas almost 8 years ago for my husband's job.
I started scrapbooking about 12 years ago. I like using found objects on pages and trying out new techniques. Currently, I am designing for JBS Mercantile, Document Life Workshop and Get It Scrapped. You can see more of my work at

Hi, my name is Debbie Piercey. I live in sunny Arizona with my hubby of 35 years, our son, and his three daughters. I have been scrapbooking since around 1999 and it is what keeps me sane. I love playing with paper and glue and creating something pretty. I am pleased to be a Guest Designer at Simple Sketches. I love to play along whenever I get the chance.

Simple Sketches # 14
I really love large-format photos and putting them on pages, especially for things my family and I have done that I really want to call attention to, or sometimes to sketch as a placeholder for a larger ephemera item. This week's sketch utilizes that larger-format photo and the girls had tons of fun with it, showing how it could be used with standard-sized photos, flipping it, and even turning it into a card!

Simple Sketches # 12
Sketch 12 is coming at you with a special appearance by our Team A's own Bobbi Trost. I am moving this week, and so it was not as easy to get in scrapping time or even computer time to get my own page done. Thanks for helping me out, Bobbi! I really appreciate it. In the meantime, I love what this week's team came up with using # 12 as their inspiration. We have a card and lots of fun techniques that take the circle into account. Simple Sketches # 8
Today, we bring you Sketch 9, which can be simple and quickly done, or you can technique it up and really make something cool! There are lots of fun variations provided by the design team this week! I love the flips, the different sized photos, and pretty much everything they had to show.
